I’m a CPA in private practice, and I have a question. In the April 2017 issue, your Lock in the Home-Office Deduction for Your S Corporation article states that the owner-employee needs to track the depreciation that was reimbursed from the S corporation to the owner-employee.
From what I have read before, depreciation is not allowed when it comes to S corporation home-office reimbursement. It is allowed on Schedule C, but it is lost for the S corporation.
