Question. I own a nice nine-unit apartment that suffered an unusual frame problem this past winter when some flooding problems caused the frame to settle and stress the roof. The repair requires a realignment of the frame and replacement of the roof. We are making a claim with the insurance company, but that claim is on shaky ground as we did not have flood insurance.
