Have you seen Kilpatrick v. Comm'r, T.C. Memo. 2016-166?
The decision made an oddly brief and quite broad justification for disallowing antiques as business furniture. The court made note of the antiques as if the old depreciation rules applied and it had never heard of the court cases that allowed antiques as depreciable property.
