The federal government has charged Wesley Snipes, star of the Blade trilogy and many other movies, with conspiracy, fraud, and six counts of failing to file income tax returns. Snipes apparently fell in with tax protestors Eddie Ray Kahn and Douglas P. Rosile, and filed tax returns claiming that the U.S. income tax applies only to foreign-source income. This is an argument that has repeatedly failed in the federal courts.
