I am currently undergoing an IRS audit.

 

I have about $5,100 in unreimbursed expenses from a client that is being disallowed because, according to this IRS agent, I should have enforced the reimbursement with the client.

 

My position: This client sends me ongoing business and has done so for the past 10 years. I feel that I would risk my ongoing relationship with this client by submitting the expenses for reimbursement.
