No Tax Relief for Donation of Office Space to Church


If a not-for-profit (church) would like to rent space from me (market value $28,000 a year) and I decide to donate the space to the church, can I write off the $28,000? If so, do I need a lease or some type of documentation for the IRS? (M.A., Woodstock, IL)
