Q&A: IRS Auditor Doesn’t Know the 90-Day Mileage Log Rule

I have been keeping a 90-day mileage log for the past 25 years, because that is the way I was taught. I am in the middle of an audit and the IRS auditor (who is brand new) disallowed all of the auto expenses because I don’t have a 12-month log.
