Home Office as Second Office


My accountant says that I cannot claim a home-office deduction because I rent desk space at my Re/Max real estate office. He is very adamant about this. Is he right? (G.M., Newburyport, MA)

 

No! Your accountant is adamantly wrong. You may claim both your home office and your Re/Max office as deductions.
