Deductions When Home Office Fails


I often work from home, but the space is not used exclusively for work, so I am not deducting a home office. My tax preparer said that I can deduct a portion of my Internet charges and actual phone expenses. Are there other expenses that I could deduct, such as utilities? If so, what percentage?
